Accepting Credit Cards Using ProPay To accept credit cards at your spa, follow these easy steps to set up your ProPay account, where you will process and collect the money from your clients credit and/or debit card. Accepting credit/debit cards can easily increase the sales at your spa and provide a full service to your clients. Follow these steps to begin accepting credit cards today: 1) Log onto Beautinet using your Consultant number and PIN number. 2) Click on propay under Business Tools 3) There are two types of ProPay accounts to choose from when you are starting your Spa business. There is a Premium Account, which costs $29.95 per year and costs 3.25% to process a card. Your funds are collected from your client's card and available to you within two days. There is also a classic account, which has no annual fee and costs 3.5% to process a card. This is a good choice if you would just like to try it and see how well it works for you. With the Classic account however, it does take about a week to collect your funds from your clients card and have it available to you. Choose which account you would like to begin with and be sure you sign up for the correct account, when clicking on any of the "sign up" icons. All of the icons are for signing up for the Premium Account except the one at the very bottom of the page. If you are choosing the Classic Account, scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click on the "sign up today for your ProPay Classic Account" icon. I personally prefer the Premium Account for the reason that the funds are available to you much sooner than they are with the Classic account. 4) Once you have chosen the account of your choice, proceed with the instructions given. You now can accept credit cards for the orders that you collect at your spa's and from your clients. Be sure to let the guests at the spa know when you hand out the folders that you do accept cash, checks and credit cards. The sales at your spa's will be much higher by accepting credit cards!!!
